The Quality KEN Plenary Webinar will take place online on 26 November 2026. Organised as the open session of EuroGeographics’ Quality Knowledge Exchange Network Autumn Plenary, the event will focus on geospatial data quality, artificial intelligence and practical experiences from European mapping agencies.
The programme will address the role of standards in artificial intelligence, with a contribution from Allan Jamieson of Ordnance Survey presenting the ISO/TC 211 perspective. Tony Baving of Kadaster Netherlands will discuss the use of GeoAI and aerial imagery.
Further presentations will include an open-source approach from Risto Ilves of the National Land Survey of Finland and quality management for EuroCoreReferenceMap, presented by Marieke Kuijer of Kadaster Netherlands. Question-and-answer sessions will provide opportunities to discuss the experiences presented.
The webinar is open to a wider audience, including professionals working in national mapping, geospatial data quality and AI. Registration is available through the EuroGeographics event page.
