The International Cartographic Association (ICA) has announced the publication of Volume 12, Issue 3 (2026) of the International Journal of Cartography (IJoC), the Association's peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advances in cartography, geovisualization and geographic information science.
The new issue brings together contributions from researchers working across multiple disciplines related to map design, spatial analysis, geospatial technologies, visualization and digital cartography. As with previous issues, the journal provides an international forum for both theoretical developments and practical applications supporting the evolution of modern cartographic science.
Published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the International Cartographic Association, the International Journal of Cartography continues to document current research addressing the challenges of representing, analysing and communicating geographic information in increasingly data-rich environments.
Researchers, GIS professionals, cartographers and students interested in the latest developments are encouraged to explore the complete table of contents and access individual papers through the journal website.
The announcement and links to the published articles are available from the ICA website.
